Administrative Assistant

Great opening for a dedicated Administrative Assistant that will be responsible for providing support with in an HR department. The Administrative Assistant must have the ability to multi task in our dynamic work environment and should have previous experience assisting in an HR Department and or Senior level managers.

Responsibilities
Prepares/composes internal and external correspondence
Screens telephone calls and visitors
Schedules and maintains calendar & travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements when needed
Maintains an accurate calendar for managers
Event Coordinator, as assigned, for corporate internal and external engagements
Review managers expense reports, verify expense documentation and submit to accounting for payment
Generate reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
Provide backup coverage for receptionist when required

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative assistant role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Lotus Notes, general comfort level with Internet/Intranet usage and ability to learn proprietary software
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
Good judgment and problem solving skills
Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills

This opening is contract and can become more for the right person.
Salary $17-$20 per hour DOE
